Cancer Center 

   The cancer center at the Institute of Translational Medicine of Zhejiang University has brought in 16 senior researchers from top international universities to serve as the laboratory PIs with more than 100 graduate students. The research directions focuse on the molecular mechanisms of cancer occurrence and development, such as tumor metabolism and immunity, as well as the interdisciplinary research of translational medicine for cancer diagnosis and treatment. The PIs at the cancer center, with substantial financial support, has published their most advanced research in the series journals of Nature, Science, and Cell with corresponding invention patents. The cancer center has devoted exclusively to the first class of cancer research and education and breakthroughs in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
